Read descriptionJoris: Line 3 is a remix of Line 1 by Izmar and features the same tb-303 bassline as 'Shining' (lost memories pt2) which was recorded around the same time. Line 4 was recorded early 2001.
Izmar: I created Line Recordings to release good music. Line 4 was one of the first tracks I heard by Joris, and I fell in love with it. For me it's one of the best 4-to-the-floor tunes up to date. Obviously I was honoured that Joris accepted my invitation, and even remixed my earlier release on Line.

Read reviewTo release the exact blend of techno I liked to produce at the time, I began a label, in cooperation with Triple Vision distribution in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Around 700 of the first Line release were pressed, around 500 or 600 sold, the rest was distributed as promos and received great replies. The guys from the London acid techno scene, responsible for the best pumping techno ever, were asking around which one of 'm made this tune, and it turned out to be me, some obscure Dutch kid.
The tune is in the vein of Hydraulix, Primate and Pounding Grooves - monotonous, driving, funky techno.
