This site pivots around my biggest passion: music. Besides composing, producing, engineering, playing keys and a bit of drums, guitar, bass and sitar, I do some writing and ethnomedicine research as well.
Background music
If you want some background music to get in the mood, you can click the musicplayer under the menu. It doesn't start automatically, because I think that is quite disturbing in many scenarios. Also, check the volume of your speakers before you hit play, because it might turn out louder than you expected.

Various styles & genres...
Actually there's a lot more than chillout, such as breakbeat tunes and uptempo tracks, some of 'm ready to hit the dancefloor. And most of my things turn out to have a high dose of melody and harmony. I've been compared to Zero 7, Fila Brazillia and Lemon Jelly.
I'd say: add a pinch of Vangelis, Morricone, Air, Cinematic Orchestra, indeed some o'that Mr. Scruff, DJ Shadow, Thievery Corporation, Nitin Sawhney, Ishq, Ananda Shankar, Prodigy, Five Deez, Bonobo, Royksopp, LTJ Bukem, and Kruder & Dorfmeister and mix it with something new and different... I hope you like this blend.
